God's Way Christian Center

About God's Way: Our Mission

God's Way Christian Center's Outreach Program was established in 1992 to embrace any and all area residents who have a need to give or receive assistance. We are the ony outreach center withing a 45-mile radius.

Our Mission is to support and assist our communities' needs. Some of our programs include:

• Offering job assistance and mentoring to people who live on the streets, who have come out of prison and those from our congregation who have need of a job.
• An off-site homeless shelter (since 2000), housing 15-35 people each year.
• A soup kitchen (since 1994), serving meals four days each week to approximately 30 people per meal.
• A food pantry which provides groceries to anyone who needs food.
• A clothing closet which provides clothing to anyone who needs it.

All of these services are offered at no cost to the recipients. In addition to these programs, God's Way Christian Center also offers holiday assistance to the community at large in the form of a communal Thanksgiving dinner and a food basket distribution, Gifts from the Heart Christmas gifts for children and Christmas food baskets.
